Blog Tour Stop - The Secret Seaside Escape by Heidi Swain

Welcome to my stop on the Blog Tour for The Secret Seaside Escape by Heidi Swain! I'm so excited to finally share my love for this book with you all!

What They Say:

Tess Tyler needs a break. Weighed down by her high-pressure job and her demanding father, she’s left little time to take care of herself. But after a shocking discovery sends her spiralling, she flees to Wynmouth, the seaside town she fell in love with as a child, to escape it all.

With its sandy beaches and welcoming community, Tess feels like she can finally breathe again. And as she grows ever closer to local barman Sam, she dares to dream that she might never return to her real life. But when a familiar face returns to town, Tess realises that there are secrets in Wynmouth too, and that her own past may be about to catch up with her…

In a time where we’re all dreaming of the places we’d like to visit, escape to the seaside with the brand new novel from Heidi Swain.

What I Say:

Whenever a new book from Heidi Swain comes out, I drop everything and dive straight in! She's one of my go-to, feel great authors.

The Secret Seaside Escape is exactly what you'd hope for from Heidi! We meet wonderful (if somewhat misunderstood at times) characters who completely make this story. They're the kind of people you want to surround yourself with, particularly Tess herself. I adored her and want to give her a big hug.

Wynmouth is an amazing place and I'm running away to go live there right now! A hefty dose of sea and sunshine is just what I need right about now. I can feel the sand under my toes and feel the breeze on my face! It's so real and perfect, take me away!

I adored the characters so much! Tess, Hope, Sophie, Sam, Joe... They were just so wonderful! Oh and not forgetting Bonkers Bruce!! This book is full of awesome people that I want to know. I want to eat Hope and Sophie's food! Argh, please let me go to Wynmouth!

This is a gorgeous book with perfect characters and a dream location! Just what we all need right now! I urge you to buy this book! 10/10

Out now in Ebook and PB from Simon and Schuster!

2015: The year of working, laughing, loving and living

Well, here we are. A week and a half into the new year. Are you all sticking to your resolutions? I am, so far. I decided that I want to be more Sparkly. That to me, means happier, nicer, more kind and caring. It means feeling good about myself and my choices. It means feeling free to love and laugh. Over the years I have lost my giggle. That was one thing my Mum told me in a letter she wrote me before she died. Never stop giggling. And I'm sad to say I did stop. People have noticed, family and friends have commented on it. My fiancé has mentioned it more than once and it was starting to cause problems. I got quite depressed and struggled on a daily basis. Books were kind of a saving grace as was Twitter. But the real world and my REAL life were shut out. So, this year I have decided to change all of that. 2015 is my year of laughing, loving, travelling, working, smiling, playing and giggling. I will still read and review, but only the books I choose. No more blog tours unl...
