It's that time of year again!! Yep, you guessed it, BOOK OF THE YEAR 2022!!!

I have (as of Dec 12) read 44 books, including several on Audio and for the month of December, I decided to turn all the books on my TBR backwards so I can't see the spines. Then I made myself a little lucky dip so I have to read whatever I draw out. It's been interesting so far!

Anyhoo, let's get this show on the road!

And my Book of the Year 2022 is...

WOMEN LIKE US BY AMANDA PROWSE

I discovered and fell in love with the books of T.M. Logan this year, when I got sent The Curfew to review. Now I'm working on collecting his whole catalogue. His books are so, so good!!

There was a book that took me far too long to pick up to read and I wish I'd read it much sooner! That book is Behind Closed Doors by Carol Wyer. She hasn't written a book I haven't loved, and for some reason, this one escaped me until recently. It was so good though!

My Favourite Audiobook 2022 is:

Dark Pines by Will Dean, narrated by Maya Lindh

My Favourite Series that I read is:

Tuva Moodyson series by Will Dean

My Top 3 Festive Reads of 2022 are:

3) A Christmas Celebration by Heidi Swain

2) Christmas Cupid by Jennifer Joyce

1) The Christmas Wish by Lindsey Kelk (It's like Groundhog Day but it's Christmas!)

So, there we have it folks! My BOTY2022!! Thanks to all the publishers, authors and publicists that have sent or recommended books for me to review. I feel so lucky to be able to do this! Merry Christmas and bring on the books for 2023!

My Review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse

Description ; "In the early years, she was happy. Romilly had worked hard for her stunning, modern house in one of Bristol's most fashionable suburbs. She adored her gorgeous, gap-toothed daughter and her kind and handsome husband. Sure, life was sometimes exhausting - but nothing that a large glass of wine at the end of the day couldn't fix. But then, as deep-buried insecurities surfaced, everything started to unravel. A glass of wine became a bottle; one bottle became two. Once, Romilly's family were everything to her. Now, after years of hiding the drinking, she must finally admit that she has found another love..." What I Say: I hadn't planned on posting my review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse yet as the book isn't out until (I believe) 16th January. However, I posted a brief review on Goodreads and Amanda has been sharing it on other social media so I thought she wouldn't mind. Another Love is a stunning, emotionally intense story of a wo...

Welcome to my stop on the Blog blitz for the fabulous third Instalment in the DI Robyn Carter series! What They Say: One girl found dead. Another girl gone... Long shadows danced on the tin walls. No one knows the woman in blue who rented the unit; her hire van can’t be traced. But as the leads run dry another body is uncovered.
