Blog Tour Stop with Review of From Now On by Amelia Henley

Welcome to my Stop on the Blog Tour for From Now On by Amelia Henley!

What They Say:

A heartbreaking tragedy.
Charlie left his hometown behind years ago and hasn’t looked back since. These days, with a successful career and a beautiful soon-to-be fiancée, he couldn’t be happier. But when he receives some unexpected news, his life is forever changed.

A life-changing choice.
Suddenly things are falling apart, and now Charlie has to care for his family. How is he supposed to look after a heartbroken little brother and a sullen teenage sister who want nothing to do with him? He’s completely at a loss and knows he can’t do it alone – not without the help of his oldest friend, Pippa.

The chance to start afresh.
As Charlie steps back into his old life, he soon realises it’s only his family who needs fixing, there’s also his relationship with Pippa too. But returning home is a painful reminder of all that he lost and tried so hard to forget. And if Charlie is to fight for what he wants, first he must face up to his own past and decide whether he is ready to let go…

From Amelia Henley, comes a brand-new emotional and uplifting novel about family, love and the hard choices we face to protect the ones we love the most

 What I Say:

When you get asked to review a new book from Amelia Henley, you know 2 things. The first is that you will need tissues handy. The second is that you will be thinking about the story long after you've turned the last page.

From Now On isn't your typical love story. It's so multi-layered and complex. It's heartbreaking, raw, sweet, funny and thought-provoking.

The characters are just incredibly believable. Charlie is so complicated and vulnerable, he made my heart ache. Nina and Duke broke me, poor little Duke especially. And Pippa just seemed like a wonderful friend to have coffee and cake with.

Everything about this book drew me in and held me tightly in its' grasp. It's absolutely stunningly written, as all of Amelia's books are! 10/10

Thanks to the team at HQ for sending me an advanced copy of From Now On in exchange for my honest review.

My Review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse

Description ; "In the early years, she was happy. Romilly had worked hard for her stunning, modern house in one of Bristol's most fashionable suburbs. She adored her gorgeous, gap-toothed daughter and her kind and handsome husband. Sure, life was sometimes exhausting - but nothing that a large glass of wine at the end of the day couldn't fix. But then, as deep-buried insecurities surfaced, everything started to unravel. A glass of wine became a bottle; one bottle became two. Once, Romilly's family were everything to her. Now, after years of hiding the drinking, she must finally admit that she has found another love..." What I Say: I hadn't planned on posting my review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse yet as the book isn't out until (I believe) 16th January. However, I posted a brief review on Goodreads and Amanda has been sharing it on other social media so I thought she wouldn't mind. Another Love is a stunning, emotionally intense story of a wo...
