Eve has always lived on Ennisfarne, an idyllic island just off the coast of Northumberland and only accessible when tides are low. What I Say:

Escape To Darling Cove was just the tonic I needed after a tough week.

The setting is absolutely idyllic and I want to visit, like now! Even the bad weather sounded delightful. I love the idea of such a close-knit community, where everyone helps each other.

I loved the cast of characters too! Logan, Eve, Huxley, Aiden, Selena, Freda, and especially Freda's niece Tish (named after ME!) were all fab and fun to get acquainted with. I loved the chemistry between certain pairs and the joy that Huxley brought, with his boundless lab energy!

This book is absolutely lovely and the perfect way to escape, just as the title says! 9/10
