Blog Tour Stop- One Last Secret by Adele Parks

Welcome to my stop on the Blog Tour for One Last Secret by the fabulous Adele Parks!!!

What They Say:

One Last Secret … would you kill to keep it?

Another incredible domestic thriller from the Sunday Times Number One bestselling author of sensational books like Both Of You

One last client

A week at a beautiful chateau in the south of France – it should be a straightforward final job for Dora. She’s a smart, stunning and discreet escort and Daniel has paid for her services before. This time, all she has to do is convince the assembled guests that she is his girlfriend. Dora is used to playing roles and being whatever men want her to be. It’s all about putting on a front.

One last chance

It will be a last, luxurious look at how the other half lives, before Dora turns her back on the escort world and all its dangers. She has found someone she loves and trusts. With him, she can escape the life she’s trapped in. But when Dora arrives at the chateau, it quickly becomes obvious that nothing is what it seems…

One last secret

Dora finds herself face to face with a man she has never forgotten, the one man who really knows her. And as old secrets surface, it becomes terrifyingly apparent that one last secret could cost Dora her life…

From the Sunday Times Number One bestseller Adele Parks comes a blisteringly provocative novel about power, sex, money and revenge.

What I Say

It's always a great day when a new novel from Adele Parks lands in your hands! Adele has been a go-to author for years and it's crazy but true that every book is better than the one before.

One Last Secret is no exception to this rule. Dora's story is so emotional. It's tragic, sad, terrifying, dramatic and full of loss. It's also full of hopes and dreams, love and longing. Dora is just like most women, she wants a better life for those she cares about.

The path her life takes isn't easy at all. She got into the life of an escort when she was really young and thirsty for a better life. It served her well and Dora was always in control. Until she wasn't. Things take a dark turn one she agrees to one last job...

This book had me on the edge of my seat! I was totally engrossed and invested in Dora's story from the first page. I absolutely loved One Last Secret!  11/10

Thanks to HQ and Adele Parks for allowing me to read an early copy in exchange for my honest review.

My Review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse

Description ; "In the early years, she was happy. Romilly had worked hard for her stunning, modern house in one of Bristol's most fashionable suburbs. She adored her gorgeous, gap-toothed daughter and her kind and handsome husband. Sure, life was sometimes exhausting - but nothing that a large glass of wine at the end of the day couldn't fix. But then, as deep-buried insecurities surfaced, everything started to unravel. A glass of wine became a bottle; one bottle became two. Once, Romilly's family were everything to her. Now, after years of hiding the drinking, she must finally admit that she has found another love..." What I Say: I hadn't planned on posting my review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse yet as the book isn't out until (I believe) 16th January. However, I posted a brief review on Goodreads and Amanda has been sharing it on other social media so I thought she wouldn't mind. Another Love is a stunning, emotionally intense story of a wo...
