Blog Tour Stop with Review - No One Cancels Christmas by Zara Stoneley

Welcome to my stop on the Blog Tour for No One Cancels Christmas by Zara Stoneley!

What They Say:

It’s the most magical time of the year, and for travel agent Sarah it’s also the busiest! But this year one man threatens to ruin Christmas for Sarah’s customers – Mr Grinch, Will Armstrong.
The Shooting Star Mountain resort is a magical place, and Sarah has fond memories of Christmas here as a little girl – visits to Father Christmas, husky rides in the snow and hot chocolate by a roaring fire. But as the resorts new owner, Will refuses to play snowball or to deck the halls with anything remotely resembling tinsel!

With customers complaining their Christmas is ruined, Sarah decides it’s up to her to convince Scroogey Will just how magical Christmas can be….

But getting Will into the Christmas spirit is hopeless – he is Bah Humbug personified! But as Sarah gets to know him better, she realises that underneath all the gloom is a man struggling with a pain of his own.

With the big day approaching, Sarah realises that the magic and sparkle can wait. This year, she’s going to spend Christmas day with someone special her very own Mr Scrooge…

What I Say:

I love Zara's books! They are always funny, sweet, a little saucy and loads of fun! This is no exception! No One Cancels Christmas is a fabulous festive treat! Set in the Canadian wilderness, it's a story of love, loss, heartache, soul searching, independence and finding happiness.

Sarah is such a relatable character. Having been let down by her parents when she was young and being brought up by her Aunty Lynn, she cherishes their holiday traditions. But when things take a turn for the weird, she makes a rash decision to jet off to Canada to try and fix a, now ailing, once loved, holiday inn. She has never spent the holidays apart from her beloved Aunt and soon begins to regret the decision as the place holds memories of her parents Sarah isn't sure she wants to revisit.

When she arrives and meets owners Will and Ed, Sarah realises she has her work cut out for her. One brother is cold and aloof, the other is hot to trot and is vying for Sarah's affections from the off. Will one of them make Sarah forget about the pain from her childhood and give her a Christmas to remember?

This is a great Christmas book! Cuddle up with a mug of hot chocolate with loads of marshmallows and get lost in the snowy mountains of Canada! 8/10

Author Bio:

Born in a small village in Staffordshire, I wanted to be a female James Herriot, a spy, or an author when I grew up. After many years, and many different jobs, my dream of writing a bestseller came true. I write about friendship, dreams, love, and happy ever afters, and hope that my tales make you cry a little, laugh a lot, and occasionally say 'ahhh'. I now live in a Cheshire village with my family, a lively cockapoo called Harry, and a very bossy (and slightly evil) cat called Saffron.

My Review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse

Description ; "In the early years, she was happy. Romilly had worked hard for her stunning, modern house in one of Bristol's most fashionable suburbs. She adored her gorgeous, gap-toothed daughter and her kind and handsome husband. Sure, life was sometimes exhausting - but nothing that a large glass of wine at the end of the day couldn't fix. But then, as deep-buried insecurities surfaced, everything started to unravel. A glass of wine became a bottle; one bottle became two. Once, Romilly's family were everything to her. Now, after years of hiding the drinking, she must finally admit that she has found another love..." What I Say: I hadn't planned on posting my review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse yet as the book isn't out until (I believe) 16th January. However, I posted a brief review on Goodreads and Amanda has been sharing it on other social media so I thought she wouldn't mind. Another Love is a stunning, emotionally intense story of a wo...
