Blog Tour Stop with Review of The Christmas Cupid by Jennifer Joyce

Welcome to my Stop on the Blog Tour for The Christmas Cupid by Jennifer Joyce! I'm so excited to share this book with you!

What They Say:

One Day in December meets Groundhog Day in this hilarious Christmas rom com!

Zoey Beake is having a bad December. She might be an elf in the local toy shop’s Christmas department, but it’s hard to stay festive when you’ve just been dumped, you’ve had an extremely unfortunate haircut, and your boss volunteers you to walk on stilts in the toy shop’s Christmas parade.

But then something incredible happens.

Zoey is sent back to the start of December, with the chance to live the whole month again. The catch? She has to match six true-love couples by Christmas Eve. Now it’s not just her own love life she needs to fix… Grab the mistletoe, the Christmas Cupid is ready to matchmake!

What I Say:

Jennifer Joyce certainly knows how to write a festive Rom-Com! The way she writes is full of quirky characters and sometimes sweet, sometimes hilarious but always lovely moments.

The Christmas Cupid sees Zoey being given a second chance to live the month of December but she has a mission. She has to make 6 love matches before Christmas Eve. Zoey is also focused on stopping The Terrible Row she and her boyfriend have right before Christmas. She thinks if she can become the Perfect Girlfriend, she can fix things at home and avoid a holiday break-up.

Zoey throws herself into match-making and waits for the magic to happen.

I adored (most of) the characters we meet here. Zoey, Milo, Franciska and Eloise especially. I loved being in and around the Manchester Christmas markets as I've been several times and can picture it and smell the gorgeous fragrances of the festive season! I really want a raspberry ripple hot chocolate now!

This book is a Christmas must-read! It's perfect! 10/10

My Review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse

Description ; "In the early years, she was happy. Romilly had worked hard for her stunning, modern house in one of Bristol's most fashionable suburbs. She adored her gorgeous, gap-toothed daughter and her kind and handsome husband. Sure, life was sometimes exhausting - but nothing that a large glass of wine at the end of the day couldn't fix. But then, as deep-buried insecurities surfaced, everything started to unravel. A glass of wine became a bottle; one bottle became two. Once, Romilly's family were everything to her. Now, after years of hiding the drinking, she must finally admit that she has found another love..." What I Say: I hadn't planned on posting my review of Another Love by Amanda Prowse yet as the book isn't out until (I believe) 16th January. However, I posted a brief review on Goodreads and Amanda has been sharing it on other social media so I thought she wouldn't mind. Another Love is a stunning, emotionally intense story of a wo...
