My Review of Perfect Daughter by Amanda Prowse

Welcome to my review of Perfect Daughter by Amanda Prowse. THE BLURB : Once upon a time, Jacks Morgan had dreams. She would have a career and travel the world. She would own a house on the beach, and spend long nights with her boyfriend strolling under the stars. But life had other ideas. First Martha came along, then Jonty. Then her mother moved in, and now their little terrace is bursting at the seams. Jacks gave up on her dreams to look after her family. If only, just for once, her family would look after her... WHAT I SAY : As always, Amanda Prowse has written a beautiful, emotional and touching story. Perfect Daughter is tender but real and raw. The struggle of Jacks' mundane life are real for so many of us. The characters are engaging, there is plenty of drama and I was kind if left guessing right until the end. Another wonderful book by an author who has quickly become a favourite and trusted go-to! 10/10 I purchased this book on Amazon.

My Review of The Glittering Art of Falling Apart by Ilana Fox

Welcome to my review of The Glittering Art of Falling Apart by Ilana Fox. Product Description: 1980s Soho is electric. For Eliza, the heady pull of its nightclubs and free-spirited people leads her into the life she has craved - all glamour, late nights and excitement. But it comes at a heavy cost. Cassie is fascinated by her family's history and the abandoned Beaufont Hall. Why won't her mother talk about it? Offered the chance to restore Beaufont to its former glory, Cassie jumps at the opportunity to learn more about her past. Separated by a generation, but linked by a forgotten diary, these two women have more in common than they know ... WHAT I SAY: I know that I'm going to struggle to find words to express how beautiful this book is so I'm not going to try. The Glittering Art of Falling Apart is just so haunting and fantastically written. I know I will be thinking about the Tempest family for a long time to come. If you read this book, make sure you have tissu

My Review of In Her Wake by Amanda Jennings

WHAT THEY SAY: "A perfect life … until she discovered it wasn’t her own A tragic family event reveals devastating news that rips apart Bella’s comfortable existence. Embarking on a personal journey to uncover the truth, she faces a series of traumatic discoveries that take her to the ruggedly beautiful Cornish coast, where hidden truths, past betrayals and a 25-year-old mystery threaten not just her identity, but also her life. Chilling, complex and profoundly moving, In Her Wake is a gripping psychological thriller that questions the nature of family – and reminds us that sometimes the most shocking crimes are committed closest to home." WHAT I SAY: I have been waiting for this book for what feels like ages! I can tell you, it was well worth the wait! From page one, I was gripped by Bella and Elaine. There are a handful of truly amazing characters but Bella and Elaine were what held me captive throughout. They both faced devastating circumstances. They were both struck
